WHAT SHOULD MY E-COMMERCE WEBSITE DO?
E-commerce sites not only have to be beautiful websites, but they must host products. They must be able to collect items in a basket and allow a customer to complete a financial transaction. The website must then notify the customer of the purchase with a receipt, it must then also notify the shopkeeper with a sales order. The site should track the inventory so that you don't sell an item you don't have. Then when item is dispatched, the customer should be notified with a tracking link. After all of this, the website should show the shopkeeper an analysis of sales over time, trending products, most viewed products etc etc.
